Map Information

Naval Whackage Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map  

Map name: Naval Whackage [184kb] 2-4 players: Large Urban map. Scenario takes place in the late afternoon on a tourney style urban map. All starting positions are equal in both space and economy. Build speeds and Oil Derrick outputs have been modified, ie faster build time and more cash for the dash. Oil Derricks are located on islands just off of your base. Each player area has four Tech buildings in the corners of their respective areas. All areas are interconnected by destroyable bridges. Great no frills map for naval battles!

Paper Plate Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map NEW 

Map name: Paper Plate [156kb] 2-4 players: Scenario takes place at High Noon on a Desert Theater map. All starting positions are equal in both space and economy. Build speeds have been modified, ie faster build time. The map is called Paper Plate because it resembles the recesses and boundary areas associated with paper plates. Naval Armada's are also possible with this map when used in online multiplay. By capturing the assorted Tech Buildings around the rim of the "Plate' you can build your Shipyard.

Hole Commandos Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map NEW 

Map name: Hole Commandos [156kb] 2-4 players: Large Temperate map. Scenario takes place at dusk. Starting positions are located approximately in the corners. Tech buildings are scattered around the map with a Secret Lab in the central valley. You will also find that the gems are there. The secret lab has been modified to allow the Howitzer to be built. Nice detail in this one...excellent layout!

Canal Zone Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map NEW 

Map name: Canal Zone [282kb] 2-6 players: Large Temperate map. Scenario takes place in the early evening hours. Starting positions are spaced equally around the map. Each starting position has several defendable entrances. Terrain is tropical and is set to imitate the Panamanian jungle. Navel Shipyards can be constructed by capturing the Oil Derricks that lay on the canal zone proper. The one and only bridge has had it's strength improved up to a level that will dissuade most players from trying to destroy it. Check out the special lighting effects at the lighthouses [channel markers] in the middle of the canal! Excellent map...A MUST have!

Castle Dash Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map NEW 

Map name: Castle Dash [222kb] 2-6 players: Large Temperate map: Scenario takes place in the afternoon. Starting positions are spaced equally around the map. Each starting position has defendable entrances and are located at the lowest ground level. Terrain is choppy at best and untenable at worst. The center of the map hides Yuri's Fortress. This structure is well guarded by Polynesian statues and also likeness's of Yuri. By capturing the Fortress you will instantly gain a cash advantage of 15000 credits and will continue to receive 1000 credits at approximately 10 minute intervals, but first you must fight your way past the defenses and your opponent. A very FUN map!

Killing Kliffs II Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map

Map name: Killing Kliffs II [169kb] 2-4 players: Updated version - Tile errors (color corrected)  Scenario starts in the middle of the night and slowly lightens to full daylight. Special lighting in this map...the 'MECH touch! There are four starting points scattered equidistant from each other. The ore is well spread out and gems are few. There is one small town and various, scattered tech buildings. The ground is rough and choppy with many cliffs and arroyo's. You will also notice that Night Owl and the Desert Hawk sound effects swap depending on the ambient settings. The Night Owl will be active when the ambient level is below0.600000 and the Desert Hawk will take over when the level rises to 0.61000. It really is a nice effect and makes it possible to use two separate sound effects for one waypoint. Excellent map...A MUST have!

Tale of Two Cities Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map NEW 

Map name: Tale of Two Cities [85kb] 2-players: This is an updated version (errors fixed) Somewhere on the Moroccan coast. Tourists are to be found wandering thru the Bazaars and on the beach . Cruise ships in the harbor with their tug boat flotilla in tow. Traffic hour like you would see in Los Angeles. Celebrity tourists causing trouble around the drinking establishments. The local Drive-in movie theater is showing "Camel Jockey" featuring Camel Tooth (sorry Camel I couldn't resist) Special lighting and sound effects on this fast paced two player map. One Tech Machine Shop, Four Oil Derricks and one Secret Lab. 

Lower Limit Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map 

Map name: Lower Limit [139kb] 2-4 players: Game opens with your starting troops in the jungles of Belize late at night. The moon light reflects off the salt flats of the marsh areas, the ancient pavement stones around your base area, and the ruins that are scattered about the war theater. Lush green grass hides a generous amount of gold!! The lower canyons hold their own vibrant colors and secrets of gold and highly prized Central American gems!! You'll find crates throughout the map containing goodies. But be careful...some of them may have a surprise waiting for ya. In fact, this map is full of surprises. The AI will do things you won't expect! This is a GREAT map! Check the readme file for all the details.

Map name: Drainage Problem [84kb] 2-4 players: Drainage Problem is a four player map with a moderate amount of Ore scattered around as well as Gems. You will also find four Oil Derricks, two Tech Airports, and three Machine shops. This is a straight forward combat map with excellent AI pathfinding. The map employs Day/Nght Transitions and starts out extremely dark. The units and structures have been modified to emit light in the case of the structures and to glow in the case of the units. This map is available in three different theaters...snow, temperate, and desert. Just click on the links below for one or all three!

Access Denied Pack Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map 

Map name: Access Denied Map Pack [304kb] 2-6 players: Map pack contains two maps basically the same. One in the Temperate theatre, and one Desert map. Bases have several points of penetration although all are defendable. Tech buildings are in control of the civilian population and are also defended by them. The local militia has garrisoned the factories and bunkers and sent out roving bands of tanks. The key to victory lies in the center of your "minds eye". The scenario starts out very early in the morning..and as such is extremely dark, with some help from an invisible lamp you should be able to get by until "sunup". There are also some surprises in the map if you can figure them out. The Howitizer will be enabled when cracking the puzzle as well as extra electrical power and paradrop reinforcements. You will also find that the health of your troops and the soundness of your armoured divisions will be well maintained.

Hidden Castles Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map

Map name: Hidden Castles [169kb] - This is a Temperate map for 2-4 players. It can be played in Team Alliance and should be fun in that mode. Ore is slightly more than medium. Gems are moderate but localized. The map is called Hidden Castles for a very good reason ..They are hidden and only the brave can find them. If you do manage to locate them make sure you send in an Engineer in order to take advantage of the many upgrades. There are also Tech Machine shops, Tech Airports, an Oil Derrick or two and possibly a Civilian Power plant. But who knows? If you don't unlock the secret then there really isn't much to see=) Good luck Commander!!

Simply Sandmazing Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Simply Sandmazing [93kb] - This is a 2-4 player maze type map in the desert theater. Oil Derricks are scattered around in abundance as well as ore. Gems and an Airport can be had in the middle of the map, if you get there first. Tech machine shops are well hidden . The key to this map is controlling the center. If that can be accomplished then victory will be yours.

Death Valley Girl Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Death Valley Girl [65kb] - This Desert map was originally a Team Alliance map for Yuri's Revenge. It was modified for FFA and Battle modes . A long high bridge has also been added. This will enable the AI to find its way across the scenario in skirmish mode. Lighting is set to .85 ambient (early evening) 

Bridging the Gap Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Bridging the Gap [72kb] - This six player map was originally a Temperate RA2 map and has been converted and modified for use as a Desert theater map. Lighting starts out at the .85 ambient level and cycles from day to night using the Wildefire cycle sequence. there are several varied Tech Buildings scattered around and one of them is the Secret Lab..capturing this will give the owner the ability to build the french grand cannon. Economy is heavy for two players and adequate for 4...six players will cause the game to be accelerated and intense.

Bridges Too Far Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Bridges Too Far [55kb] - This is a close quartered four player Desert night map with moderate Ore. Not much room to build. You may want to scout out your position before deploying your MCV. Map contains 4 Oil Derricks, 2 Airports, 4 Machine shops, and 1 Secret Lab. The secret lab will allow you to build the Grand Cannon...so don't pick the French for your side. Also has high bridges that were hacked into the theater. A good trick since bridges are not available in the map editor for desert maps.
 

Canyon Runners Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Canyon Runners [69kb] - This is a close quartered four player temperate night map with moderate Ore. You may want to scout out your position before deploying your MCV due to the limited space to build your base. Map contains 4 Oil Derricks, 2 Airports, 4 Machine shops, and 1 Secret Lab.

Snow Canyons Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Snow Canyons [65kb] - This is a four player snow map with limited building space that helps to make the game interesting. Map contains oil derricks, a few airports, tech machine shops, and Secret Lab. 

Mar Del Luna Azul Creator: RVMECH [RADEN] Special Modded Map

Map name: Mar Del Luna Azul [138kb] - Mar Del Luna Azul is Espanol for Sea of the Blue Moon. This is a 4 player lunar map. The first one I have made with the new FA2Yuri map editor. It also employs *Mech's Moon Rules( as all My Lunar maps will). The map has a subtle blue lighting effect as well as invisible blue lamp post placed near the player starting positions. The *Day/Night cycles have been speeded up slightly in this map from my normal settings. I have also increased the "glow" factor of the units, structures, vehicles, and aircraft in order to facilitate their viewing during the dark periods.
There are numerous buildings located around the playing areas. "Moon oil derricks', "Moon Tech Machine Shops", Civilian Power Plants , and 2 Secret Laboratories. The map is available in all modes of play ie: Battle, FFA, and Team Alliance. 

Moonscape Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Special Modded Map

Map name: Moonscape [138kb] - Six player Lunar map for Battle, FFA, and also Team Alliance modes. Ore and gems are sporadically placed about the map. In the center of the map are two "Lunar" Tech Machine Shops, and eight "Lunar" Tech Oil Derricks. The American Paradrop now comes from an ParaDrop Saucer! Harriers and Black Eagles have been reworked and now are saucer type spacecraft. Lots more modification in this map. Check the readme file for all the goodies!

Battle for Dunes Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish|mod

Map name: Battle for Dunes [106kb] - This is a huge 2-6 player desert theater map...120x100. Light to medium ore and several Oil Derricks, and 1 Machine shop. Be mindful of your economy..it is spread thin and conflicts will arise. Defending your turf and your oil production is the key to victory. Also take note that the AI has been enhanced for this map so when playing brutals be careful. This map also comes with Day/Night cycles, thanks to the ingenuity of gal map maker Wildefire! Have fun.

Mech's Desert Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Multiplayer/Skirmish

Map name: Mech's Desert [91kb] - There are 4 starting positions on the map. There is a moderate to heavy concentration of ore on the map and some gems next to the starting positions to "kick start" your economy. There are also 2 oil derricks and 1 mechanics shop per player. Tech airports only number 2, so in a 4 player match you better get there first.

Lunar Tango Creator: RVMECH [RADEN]  Online Multiplayer Only

Map name: Lunar Tango [20kb]- This is a simple Lunar map. It was map made with great difficulty since no editor is available to support it's creation. You have 29,400 credits available at the map select screen, so make sure you select the maximum amount. The AI absolutely sucks on this map because it has no economy, so it should really be played online against a human player. More info in the readme file.
