London, England
"The Soviet Invasion of mainland United States has seen chaos grip the world. The US armed forced have been sent reeling after the well-coordinated military offensive. It is not yet knows weather this action is a result of last months nuclear testing near Russian waters by the United Stated Naval Fleet, or reprisals following the defeat of the Soviet Union in 1978. The Prime Minister has been said to have called Washington earlier this evening, pledging the resources of Great Britain to assist the US if needed. The European Union also held emergence talks this afternoon on the possibility of war with the Union. The results of these talks have yet to be published, but the minister of
defense, said that he was very pleased with the outcome and that."
Brian Fletcher turned the TV set off. The news of the Soviet invasion had been broadcast 24/7 over the past four days. He was now tired of hearing the same news over and over again.
Brian's wife, Suzan, leaned closer to him on the couch, so as that their two children, Kyle and Marie couldn't hear
"You don't think the Russians will come here, do you?" Brian put his muscled are around her shoulder, drawing her close and kissed her on her cheek
"No. They'll be preoccupied with America, darling. I shouldn't think they'd have enough men to spare to invade us. The American should win anyway. they have a big enough army. they just haven't
mobilized it yet. the Russians wont come here" ...he said, hoping he was right.

London England
"A statement made at twelve noon today, taken from the office of the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street, has ordered all hostilities with the Soviet Union to
end."
The news reporter said, a hammer and sickle hanging in the background "The statement said that to
minimize further damage to British town and cities, and to protect civilians harm, the Soviet forces that landed here two months ago, will be allowed free passage throughout the United Kingdom. Furthermore, the Prime minister announced that he was to stand down from his position, and hand over control of the UK to Vice Premier Dukovich, whose first act was to pass a curfew from 7 PM to 11Am... "
"Could things get any worse?" Brian asked himself as plaster fell from his roof, which had been hit a day or so ago by a V3 missile.
Many senior politicians are congratulating the Prime Minister on his decision to stand down. I think the Prime Minister deserves a big Bravo from all of
us.
"Bravo?" Brain said, hoping he hadn't misheard. His ears still rang from the V3 blast the day before
"Bravo, Mr. Prime Minister.. Bravo"
"Bravo.. I knew it would come" Brian exclaimed.
He had been a captain in the SAS in the previous war. When invasion had seemed imminent, the government passes a proposition, which stated that in the event of Soviet invasion, all SAS operatives would be called upon to infiltrate civilian towns and
organize resistance groups to combat the enemy in guerrilla warfare, until a proper counter attack could be mounted. The Go-word for the SAS to carry out that operation was. "Bravo"
"Suzan! Kyle. Marie! Come here!" he shouted into the next room.
His family emerged through the doorway, covered in dust and plaster.
"Sue. I want you to take the children downstairs to the cellar.
Don't ask questions, I have to go"
"Brian, you can't expect.."
"Listen. I have to go. I need to meet with Adam"
"I know I cant talk you out of this. just promise me you'll be careful.
If your going to meet Adam for the reason I think your going to."
"I promise I'll be OK. You kids be good for mummy now, wont you?"
He kissed them goodbye and grabbed his coat. Walking out the door, he dusted it off with his hands and put it on.
Brian crossed the road between two parked Apocalypse tanks, and trough the back alleys of London, to stop being searched. He had slipped a knife into his pocked a while ago, in case he ever came up against a commie that dared to come into his house.
He emerged on Southbank Street, the home of Adam Tyler, his ex SAS colleague. Looking around, he could see very little sign of damage. and even fewer Russian soldiers. The perfect place to start their guerrilla campaign
