Chapter 1

Eight years ago there was an attack by the Yuri network on the major cities of America. The battle was fought on the fourth of July. Now there is unrest among the balance of the United States. The democratic party was torn apart. The new party that left the democrats was called the Western Democrat party. This party's objective was to restore order on the United States using military force. Gregory Thompson, the leader of this party is backed by states angry with the president. These states, led by Oregon, ordered a lowered tax on the relief. The government rose taxes to pay for the damage. Oregon made threats to the United States congress on intending to leave the Union. The Neo Yuri army, the Global Liberation United, and the Western Democrats were combined to form the Confederate Alliance. 

The Deal 

Let me tell you our situation. Gregory Thompson, the representative from the Western Democrats held a meeting with Muhammed Ulah the leader of the GLU and Yuri 7, the head officer of the Neo Yuri Network. Thompson explains, "I am backed up by the state government of Oregon and Washington. My intention is to have a first wave of secession of Oregon, Washington, California, and Nevada. This would increase my popularity and might cause Texas and Arizona to secede. I need a combined army to counter the United States and allies. I will give the Yuri Network the Northwest Territory and I will give GLU Guam and the Marshall Islands. I need soldiers and the cloning facilities!" Yuri 7 gasps, "We are at your disposal!" Ulah says, "the GLU will sign your treaty. Thompson explains, "If we can get support from Cuba, Spain, Japan, and Iraq, we will have an army greater than any!" 

American Meeting 

I don't know how long this is going to last my old friends! President William Spencer is the successor of Dougan Jr. He says, "More and more states are joining the separatists!" The secretary of state says,"If they do break away!" The president argues," I will not let this republic that has stood since for almost 200 years be split in two, my negotiations will not fail!" The Secretary of Defense says," If they do, you must realize that this could trigger another civil war upon American soil!" Our military is growing again and they might ask help from other countries. After the defeat of the UFOs, 60% of all armies on the globe lost half of their military force. The president says, "Let's just hope they don't secede!" 

Succession 

"By the power of the people, I grant this state of Oregon freedom from the Union. It shall form a new government under it's own rule!" The Governor of Oregon declared Oregon a separate state from the Union. The People drafted their own constitution and elected Gregory Thompson as president. The country of Oregon called upon military drafting. This succession angered the eastern coast. The Oregon country put up a new flag. It adopted from the original civil war flag nicknamed "Stars and Bars" It has a small box on the top-left corner with a Big star in it for Oregon. A box with the same width under it stretched to the bottom of the flag. That was the bar. Another bar was on the right of the small square. Then In the bottom right box stood 12 stars for the 12 states that were in process of secession. 

Another Succession 

Military exercises in the Atlantic triggered another wave of secession. Alaska, Washington, California, Arizona, and Nevada all secede from the United States. Now the Oregon country is called the Confederate States of America. Thompson places the capital in the city of Sacramento. Now they are a country. The United States of America is now lacking 6 states. The confederacy begins to draft men and begin construction of cloning vats and cloning facilities. The confederacy now payed 40 million dollars to the Neo-Yuri Network for a shipment of 600,000 clones. Meanwhile, he ordered all shipyards to start construction of Boomer submarines. Cheaper than aircraft carriers, and better than Dreadnaughts. Although Boomers are their first priority, some shipyards were ordered to make frigates, cruisers, and destroyers. Upon secession the Confederacy had at least 1 Carrier, 10 frigates, 8 cruisers, 4 destroyers, and 12 Typhoon attack submarines. The army was only 60,000 men and about 1200 tanks. 400 Grizzlies, 200 IFVs, 500 Mirage Tanks, 100 Prism Tanks. 

The Attack 

As promised the GLU would attack first. With undercover terrorists posing as sailors, the GLU was successful in placing a bomb inside USS Carl Vinson, and USS Nimitz. Then On August 2nd, the GLU detonated the bomb. Carl Vinson was sunk and Nimitz was severely damaged. 900 sailors died. The President ordered army upon full alert. President Spencer ordered General Anderson, now a 3 star General to command northern operations in this war. The United States commissioned 70,000 GIs and 2300 Tanks upon this war. Great Britain also sent 50,000 GIs and another 2100 tanks for the war. France sent over 47,000 GIs and 1900 Tanks. 

Another Succession 

Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Hawaii, and Oklahoma seceded from the United States of America. The acquisition of Texas allowed the army to double and the navy to increase 50%. The war has begun. The Confederate Strategy was to fight a defensive war and wage espionage and terrorist attacks on the enemy. Then when the time is right, invade the largest city in the Union, NY. There, we can attack Boston or D.C. 

Union Strategy 

The strategy of the Union was simple. Attempt to blockade the confederacy, capture Hawaii for a future invasion of the west coast, and capture the capital of Sacramento. General Anderson would control the forces in the north, and Brigadier General Gates would control the forces in the south. For the United States, this is the Civil War all over again. The confederates called this, the Clone War because in 1 year, they will use clones for the army. Clones versus humans. The Confederate alliance declared war against the Triple Alliance.
