Specific Soviet Strategies & Tips:

Tesla distraction tactic: Load up 3 Telsa Troopers and an Engineer into a transport unit. Have a Telsa Coil built all the way, but not placed. When you attack with your main force, sneak the transport around the back of your opponents base and unload it near an unimportant building, such as a power plant. Take it over with the Engineer, place the Telsa Coil next to it and have the 3 Telsa Troopers charge it.

Yuri Attack: Yuri is a unit you can use to take over your enemies units. Keep some Yuris in your base. When the enemy attacks you, have them take over some of their units, and then use their own units against them to break up their attack. If you lose any of the units you are controlling with your Yuri you lose nothing since they were originally produced by the enemy! So this strategy is free.

Using your Conscripts effectively:  Conscripts (infantry) don't do much damage, but they can take a lot of punishment before they die. They are about as tough to kill as a Tesla Trooper. What you can do is have them charge ahead with Engineers trailing behind them. While your Conscripts take the brunt of the enemy attack, your Engineers can score a few enemy buildings. I think you get the picture. Sacrifice the cheap men. The trade-off for enemy structures justifies the sacrifice.

Yuri/Flak Combo: A very good unit combination is having your Yuris guarded by Flak Troopers. The Flak Troopers can handle any airborne attacks while the Yuris grab onto any enemy vehicle on the ground. This is a tough rush to break up, because the enemy needs more units than you have Yuris, and they need something better than GIs, which your Flak Troopers can cut right through!

Engies/Tesla Trooper Combo: A nice, effective rush combination is an Engineer and two Tesla Troopers in a single Flak Track, but have a Tesla Coil pre-built and ready to place before your start this one. Move in, take a building with the Engineer, and plant the Tesla Coil. The Tesla Troopers will start charging it immediately, giving you a nice pocket of strength in the enemy base. Add a Flak Cannon to make it even more impervious.

Use the dogs! Dog packs are one of the best ways to eliminate Chrono Legionnaires. But your going to need about twice as many dogs as there are enemies. This is because the Legionnaires can kill dogs real fast. You'll lose a few doing this, but dogs are easier to replace than tanks, etc.

Enemy Spies: If you see an infantry that looks like one of yours coming towards your base, but you are not controlling the unit, this should alert you to the fact this is an enemy spy! If your not sure, just select the unit. If you can't move it then it's not yours. Attack dogs will spot and kill spies. But if you have none available you will have to have your units force fire on the spy in order to kill it. Even units in guard mode won't kill the spy because it thinks it is one of their own.

Using Crazy Ivan Effectively: You can use Crazy Ivan to blow up things. But if you don't want to risk losing him, just plant bombs on other units. One of the best units to use is your very own dogs. Dogs are fast for one thing, and they are relatively cheap. You can plant bombs on your own Conscripts too. Then just send them to the enemy base and surprise em! It's also a good way to create diversions and keep your enemy guessing on what your next move is.

War Miners as offensive units: The Soviet War Miner comes with a small but powerful gun. If its late in the game and you have very little ore left to mine, you can use these as additional offensive units when attacking the enemy base. They will help draw fire from enemy weapons. This allows you to roll your tanks into the base while the War Miners are taking the hits. In other words, use them as a diversion from your real attacking forces. Plus the War Miners are good at killing infantry. By the way, they repair themselves as soon as they are damaged. This makes them very durable.

Tip on using the V3 Rocket Launchers: If your using V3s as part of your attacking force, keep in mind if the enemy has Patriot Missile sites in his base, they can knock down your rockets. The solution to this problem is to group about 5-7 V3s and have them fire simultaneously into the enemy base. They may get some of the missiles, but you stand a better chance of a few of them getting thru their air defenses when used in this way.

Small Rush Combination: Place an Engineer and a couple Tesla Troopers in a Flak Track. Go ahead and build a Tesla coil, but don't place it anywhere yet. Take your Flak Trak to the enemy base. Unload the Engineer and Tesla Troopers. have the Engineer take over a building, place your built Tesla coil, then have your Tesla Troopers energize the Tesla coil. You won't obliterate the enemy base with this attack, but you can use it for a diversion from your main attacking force, or just to harass the enemy and create confusion for him.

Conscript & Engineer rush: Conscripts don't really do a lot of damage, but they can a good deal of punishment before they are destroyed. Just about as tough to kill as a Tesla Trooper. Make 15 or 20 Conscripts and several Engineers. head to the enemy base, sending your Conscripts in ahead of your Engineers. While your Conscripts are drawing the brunt of the fire, try to take over whatever buildings you can with your Engineers.

Demo Trucks & Iron Curtain: When playing as the Libyans build about five Demo trucks and park them in front of your enemies base. When you're ready hit them with an Iron Curtain and then drive them in to the enemies base, once in, park one Demo truck next to every important building that they have and just wait. Once the Iron curtain wears off they all go 'Kaboom' and about 90% of their base is now smoking radioactive waste. If you want complete destruction to occur then make sure that you have a Nuke on stand-by to finish off those pesky varmints.
