The Altered
Tech Missions:
The ten missions that will be included with this campaign are
like no other missions you have ever played for Red Alert2.
Things aren't as they seem, and bases can vanish before your
very eyes. In one of the missions your actually transported to
another place and time, hence the name 'Altered Technology'.
You'll encounter Aliens, both in the air and on the ground [and
build them too!], see never before seen civilian structures,
play your missions on some of the best maps this side of
Westwood, and see all new technology never before implemented in
missions or mods. You'll go up against a much improved AI that
will build units and structures the way you'd expect a human
player to do. All of the missions will prove to be very
challenging to even the diehard veteran players of Red Alert2.
You'll have to earn your victory if you choose the highest
difficulty level. And you'll have to 'Alter' your way of
thinking when you play 'Altered Technology'. COMING SOON
TO RADEN...

The
Altered Tech Story:
Early in 1938, Professor Einstein traveled back in time to approximately 1922 and "eliminated" an unknown paperhanger by the name of Adolph Hitler. In doing so he unwittingly altered the future of the planet and in effect ALTERED TECHNOLOGY.
In the pursuing years the Soviet Block countries (lead by the Russians) came to become a world power. For many years the Soviets tried to get along with the capitalistic antagonists known as the Alliance (lead by the Americans). This proved to be pointless and in the end a tragedy for the planet.
Finally the Soviets were left little choice by Americans and their European Allies. They were forced to invade the United States or face economic suicide and possibly extinction. The war lasted for many years with the Allies eventually prevailing in the struggle.
Although many Soviet lives were lost, the ideals and goals that were set down by the Founding Party were not. After what seemed like centuries the Communist Party again, came into power and began the process of rebuilding and throwing off the yoke of Allied oppression.
At first the war went well for the Soviets. Battles were won on all fronts; the Allies were being forced into submission.
Then it was discovered that the Allies had somehow made a scientific breakthrough in the fields of energy, space, and time.
The war began going against the Russians and the Confederation. They were fighting against unseen weapons and a technology that was far beyond what there own scientists and research facilities were capable of. This did not deter the Communist machine.. They simply employed their excellent espionage department and soon found what they needed to know.
It seems that, that odd little scientist, Einstein had used his Space/time warping machine (called a Chronosphere by the Allied nations) to go back the early 1940's. He was detected by the Soviet Spies entering his laboratory, immediately after his return, with several large boxes full of diagrams and also in his possession were several strange machines.
It was shortly after this that the Soviet Poletariat and the High General's decided that enough was enough. They needed to capture a chronosphere and send back a team to find out and to gain for themselves exactly what Professor Einstein had. Little did they know that there efforts were to pay off so big and to put them back on an even plane with the Alliance. Thus began the war of.....
