I played against a player called "SAMFORCER". He was America and I was Russia. We started building. I built a dog and scouted his base. I saw that he built a War Factory, and he had a few miners. When I had a few Rhinos I attacked his War Factory and Ore Refinery and destroyed it. These rhinos were dead. I kept building, and when I again had a few Rhinos, I attacked his War Factory and Ore Refinery again. He didn't say anything. Then I saw him building rocketeers and a few IFV's. I started training Flak Troopers and a few Flak Tracks, but I didn't stop building RHINOS. I sent a flak track and killed a few rocketeers (4-5), then my Track was destroyed.

When I had a huge force of rhinos (well not THAT huge but 10-13 Rhinos or something) I destroyed everything of his base. He called me a cheater and g*ycheater. I saw his units going to somewhere, I thought he had another base, and I looked but it was an oil derrick with a pill box and a patriot missile. I destroyed the pill box, then he disconnected the game. I added him to buddy list, and I saw this:

wins: 61
Losses:29
DISCONNECTS:69

He disconnects everytime he's going to lose. Look who's the (G*Y)cheater now. SAMFORCER!!!!!

Story by: FiberGlassHazard - 4/29/2003
I was in a game of Red Alert 2 and the events that unfolded during this game made for one interesting story. The game starts with Me as France, The host (who must have been a noob) as Yuri (WITH CRATES ON!) and a Medium Soviet Enemy (I didn't choose this, I would of had it A Brutal. I had just played a couple of other matches and wanted to get one more in despite the fact I was tired. So the game starts and I am screwing around, unaware Supers are on (the host started as soon as I got in the game room, so I didn't check). Well, about five minutes into the game the medium comp engie rushes me, and I am caught with a gap in my Conyard's wall. So I sell all my buildings in my base so the comp doesn't get 'em. (I WAS SLEEPY!) I kill the five engies, but figure I am screwed. I do have a Civilian Airbase and two Oil derricks. I decide to stick it out, just to see the outcome. I start to garrison like mad, spreading out so I will be a pain to kill. Then I see some super weapon warnings and I am like crap, I didn't know they were on! I finally find the host, and at this point I belive the host was allies with the comp. (I find out later that's not so) So I take out his Civi Airbase and garrison the area. I hid my miners. And I destroyed oil dericks I don't control.

I put a lot in to make the other guy have a hard time. I ask over and over again Why he hasn't killed me, but get no response. Finally I ask if he is allied with the computer, he says no. Then the host builds some supers... I Launch a puny assault on his base with GI's, which should have been stupid, (HE was Yuri) But did a surprising amount of damage. Then he wises up and starts to take out my troops with some UFO's. He starts to attack my garrisoned buildings. Then I find a crate, that is NEXT to his base with a Conyard. I quietly take it to the corner on the other side, then ramble about my luck. From there, (I HAVE TONS OF CASH the oil derricks gave me), I build a base. I eventually defeated him with incredible ease, He was busy trying to take the comp out, why was that hard? When I started to make an assault with tanks he said "Hey, Its Me! Why are you attacking? I never attacked you!" I told him that was hilarious. In the end I used a surrender taunt and he gave up. However, I don't think he ever knew where my base was or that I had lost my conyard early on in the game, EVEN with the questions about why I wasn't dead yet, the threat "You will be sorry you didn't kill me", and rambling I typed about my luck, Because NOTHING he ever did indicated otherwise. I swear, I leave this game for months at a time, but every time I come back it gets better.

Story by: xcalibre - 4/29/2003
I was playing RA2-YR networked with a buddy and we were both teamed against 6 AI brutal enemies...at least I thought!? During what appeared to be a normal comp stomp, my buddy's soviet units started to act a little strangely, they started like attacking me! He promised it wasn't him who ordered his like 6 cruisers to take out my con yard [and with 3 blimps on the way]!! And of course this all started to happen when my back was turned, which made me think it had become a sort of stab-in-the-back campaign.

Well, naturally I accused him of doing it deliberately to his face [hey I don't mind a little fun especially since I had other CYs elsewhere and it would've made things a little more interesting], but he flatly denied it like, "I didn't attack you, it wasn't me!! Of course I didn't for a second fall for that...it's not like this has never happened before. But this time, he was insistent he wasn't attacking me...with a little smirk that later I found out was utter incredulity and 'hey it's funny I'm not doing it this time'.

I'll have to say, I wasn't easily convinced but eventually he did convince me he was being honest. This time the AI seemed to actually be taking control of his units...and believe me, I was as skeptical as anyone would be, 'cause this ain't supposed to happen! But he started building 10 cruisers out of a Naval Yard that happened to be in a ridiculously small patch of water that was not meant for naval [one of my own maps called Xrossfire2], and he also had orders for 10 blimps which he said he never made.

Well, it was hard for me to believe it wasn't all his orders, until I saw him cancel his build list with my own eyes- it had 10 cruisers and blimps ordered, until cancelled, which lasted a couple of seconds until they were mysteriously ordered again by some unknown force, only the cost for all this wasn't being taken off his total amount either...go figure!!! This was beginning to look like some sort of AI revenge or something. By this time, my buddy was frantic trying to prove his honesty.

He said it all began when he got a Soviet MCV in a crate, and he started to build up the tech tree. But things really started to get bizarre when he placed the Soviet Tech Lab, then strange things started to happen. He said in his own words, "it's as if someone else is moving my units", and he couldn't control them to stop the attack on me- so he said.

Well, not all was lost. As it so happened I had a Psychic Dominator ready and was able to capture at least half of his cruisers that were packed into an impossibly tight little bunch, then it was a slugfest between them until I killed em all. I only lost 1 CY and 3 Aircraft HQs in the process, but I almost lost a friend as he was very upset that I wouldn't believe him- hey buddy this aint the first time you attacked me as a teammate...what did u want me to think?!

You gotta put it all down to experience, and this one was a funny one when I reflect. After all, how many times does one get a chance to experience bizarre AI antics such as these? In the end my buddy gained control and we both won the game. But it was Xtreme. To this day I don't really know if it was my so-called gaming buddy attacking me or if it was really an AI screw up, I mean what would you think? It was one of those rare things that you just had to be there to see...

Story by: VGsatomi - 1/29/2003
This occurred during one of the many LAN parties I attended. We had played Yuri's Revenge for several hours already (we always play Free or All). One of my buddies started getting suspicious because I kept on outbuilding everyone and winning almost all the games up to that point, and voiced his opinion on the matter. We played another game and of course I targeted him first. I built up my tech tree and attacked him with a Mirage/Prism/IFV/Seal combo and arrived at his base to see he had hardly any units there, and was just focusing on basic defenses. I finished him off easily and he got up from his chair and started screaming at me...I'm talking about he was red in the face he was so pissed, calling me a cheater because I was somehow outbuilding everyone. He was 100% convinced I was using some sort of maphack to increase my build speed. I was banned from playing after that (the host knew I wasn’t cheating, but he did want to keep the game "balanced"). However, after seeing me sit bored out of my mind for an hour and a half, the host let me play again. The map was a large naval map with some islands and bridges connecting the player positions. My bud had quite a grudge against me, so he attacked me first after building up a MASSIVE ground force and a MASSIVE navy. I ambushed his navy with a rather substantial force of Dolphins and managed to destroy it, and then moved in my carriers and Aigis' to take out his heavy-hitter ground units (like Battle Fortresses and such) and his large Rocketeer support, where I then mopped up the rest with my Mirage Tanks. I wiped out both forces losing hardly any units (not including carrier hornets). He was so infuriated that time that he threw his keyboard at me....and he was using one of the host's computers!. I didn’t find it funny at the time but it's worth a laugh now. Needless to say I wasn’t the one banned from playing after that.

This will make you laugh so hard you will fall out of your chair.
I just got done with a game on RA2. The map was Malibu cliffs. When I first start I realized my two opponents (2 vs 1) Are noobs when one say "I Love my Malibu Stacy dreamhouse" Now I laugh thinking he is kidding. We both laugh. Thinking he is kidding. But soon I scout his base and find a VERY CRAPPY BASE!! He hasn't built a single base defence. Not a tank. Nothing. He has nothing. Just buildings that have nothing. It was amazing. All he was doing was driving his "Dreamcar" (Ore miner) around the base going "Vroom Vroom" Needless to say I rushed him and he thought that "Ken got mad. waaaaaA" Think I am kidding? I am not freaking kidding. It was a hilarious defeat of him. It dosent end there though. Because now when I get back I see he has a dog in my base. So now he knows what I am doing but so do I since I have had a dog in his base since the beginning of the game and He hasn't noticed. Now he gets mad since every GI that he makes is gotten by the dog. He yells 'YOU CHEATER!! I AM DOING TO REPORT YOU TO WESTWOOD'!!!!!! and then I laugh at the thought of Westwood caring and I continue the game to see what n00bish tactic he does next. Soon I keep hearing another type of screams coming from his base. I look and this is what I see. I see spy after spy marching to their doom. I see several IFV's trying to run the dog over. And a sniper for some reason, who could be saving his base. Is sniping his ore miner. Needless to say. I attacked and ended this ASAP.

Story by: )EIB( - 1/29/2003
I was playing a quick match game a few weeks ago against a pretty decent Soviet player on Isle of War (think that's the name of the map...). I normally choose to rush but on this map I wanted to see if it was possible to defend the narrow route between the two bases to prevent a land rush whilst simultaneously building up a strong and protected force of dreadnoughts to destroy his base. I lined the two sides of the canyon with a fair number of Rhinos and Flacks (to weaken rushing tanks ) and I left a secondary force of Rhinos and a couple of Apocalypses on the edge of my base to engage oncoming forces. Eventually the attack comes and I fend a lot of it off. He made some intelligent use of dogs around his tanks (a tactic I wasn't aware of at this point) and I narrowly lost the land battle. Meanwhile I have been pounding his base with my dreadnoughts. Having invested all his cash in a land army he has no sea units or significant AA defenses.

So I am trying to destroy his base before his 2 remaining tanks and IFV destroy mine. Anyway after destroying my war factory, Naval Yard and Con Yard he brings back his tanks to try and engage the dreadnoughts. He also sends a APC full of engineers to the remains of my base. He captures all of my buildings.... except for one power plant...? He does this even though he has 2 engineers remaining. I can only assume that he thought the structure was his (he had no radar) or maybe he was colorblind? Anyway, by this time I have finished off his entire original base and the only structures he has are the ones he has captured from me. Quickly I send round my dreadnoughts to take out the captured buildings whilst his tanks are still trying to shoot at me from the shoreline (unsuccessfully). Incredibly I won the game even though I had completely lost the land battle and had no land units whatsoever... I was accused of cheating, threatened with being reported for having 'invisible buildings'....Was very amusing..hehe.

I played a 2 vs 2 online. It was a team alliance map. I quickly garrisoned a pyramid that was close to our opponents base and began to build up my base. I heard a prism tank sound and looked at my pyramid, and there was a pres. ifv attacking it. I told my partner that we were playing a cheater and he quickly left the game. So there I was against a cheater and another player. I decided to stay in the game. I went a head and built 2 jets and some rocketeers. He sent his pres. ifv towards my base, and I damaged it with my jets then finished it off with my rockies. I laughed so hard. Then I saw another one. I wasn't sure how many he had. I built up a nice sized force and went to his base. He only had one more pres. ifv, and I did the same to it as I did to the first. I easily finished his base off, (he had about 4 barracks and 2 war factories) then went after his ally. Neither one of them had a strong base, so I ripped through him too. I told the cheater, "No wonder you cheat, you suck." I couldn't believe I won the game. Well, I joined another 2 vs 2 game and in the chat area I told the other 3 guys about the game I just played, and how that cheater sucked. We started the game, and I realized that my partner was the cheater I just played because I saw a rambo looking guy coming out of his barracks, then I recognized his name. LOL!! I told our opponents that my partner was the cheater and told them I would help them kill him. Well, it didn't matter, they ended up destroying us both quickly.

Story by: Neo TeslaMan - 1/29/2003
In the map Bay of Pigs (2-6), I allied with two my friends, and my enemies were three veteran players. In the beginning of the game, I trained a lot of conscripts, maybe around 50's and sent to fortify the warehause in the center of the area of my island. Another 40 were tasked to protect my allies' way by fortifying the buildings near their way. In a few minutes I could gained control over the central road by several apocalypses. But as my enemies send a large number of prism tanks to the road, I pulled back my forces. When my allies began sent a large number of rhinos to the road, my enemies began to pull back. That kind of forces sending-pullingback happened often, so neither side can really take over the road totally. Just like a cold war. Armored divisions and infantries gathered there like ants, either side at the edge of the central road. Not long later, my enemies take an offensive by sending a horde of prisms and battle fortresses, meanwhile my team only defended that central road with a lot of apocs and conscripts. Like a real war, sound of guns never stopped. And in he middle of the battle, my computer and my allies' along with my enemies' were crashed and the battle was over.

Story by: tiberiumjason - 1/11/2003
Well, I was playing on this 8 player map, and I was allies with 3 other people vs. 4 computers at brutal level. We were dominating the map and I said to attack each other, but they wouldn't agree. The game got so boring that I decided to do something. First, I stole one of my allies Tech Buildings. He didn't notice for a while but found out. The best part was how mad he got. But that's not all, I got a Spy and stole all my other allies credits. Then he started saying "you retard!" and everyone declared war on me, just what I wanted. I said "bring it on pussys!". Of course 4 full scale assaults was too much, since I was America, I had free paratroopers. First, they gathered in a Legion like style cube just outside my base and started using these weird taunts they downloaded. I had 1 Prism Tank, 9 GIs and quite 9 Prism Towers for defense. I was screwed, or was I? After 9 minutes of taunts, my super weapons were ready for some action. I built up my army of GIs in their outskirts, then i said "Look at ye base" and used the Weather Storm on their attack force, while chronoing 9 vehicles in the sea. when they finally realized what I had done, (Destroy their Bases, kill their attack force except for 3 Mirage Tanks. They were mad, and went for my base. I had to sell all my Prism Towers to get a weather machine. They killed all my GIs and destroyed my base. (Took a million years!) When they declared victory, they got a surprise, instead of them killing my army, they joined my army, thanks to PSI Commanando's.

Story by: tandmcornelius - 1/11/2003
I was playing as America against 3 brutal computers. The layout was a base in each of the 4 corners and there were buildings all around. I like GIs and guardian GIs. I use them as a kind of rolling front, which I used to take out the Yuri computer enemy. I captured the Yuri MCV all the other buildings. I was all proud of myself, but out of no where I see red boxes all around my base. I look over there and I see 2 kirovs kicking my ass. I had sent 4 Ifv to kill them, they usually do a good job. But I forgot that they don't following them and I lost track of them in my attack. My base was completely wiped out before I could do anything. My protecting infantry screen, deployed GIs and guardian GIs are the best defense, were just sitting there. I quickly rushed them to my new Yuri base, got the IFV to wipe out the Kirovs. I was pissed, but I noticed that I had a fully operational Yuri base. I just started building up on that and was able to wipe them out.

Story by: Cmonk - 1/11/2003
It was a 2 vs 2 fight. I don't remember any of the player's names or what the map was called. After 30 minutes the green enemy player asks his purple colored allie to do a tank/infantry rush on my base ( they never attacked my allie for the entire match for some reason) so then I grabbed all the conscripts and tanks I could muster. Plus I've added a tesla-coil in front of my base for better defense (even though that's absolutely not enough in a multiplayer game) and hoped for the best. I made the only 15 conscripts I had to garrison the nearby buildings and I lined up the Rhinos to block the street. The idiot I allied with just sat there and watched, not even a complementary Prism Tank from him to help a bit. Then the green enemy typed in "5,4,3,2,1..... CHARGE!" Then like 40 Grizlies and 30 IFV's including the occasional paratroopers attacked my lousy base. After a while they've lost almost all of their tanks and soldiers, then one of the players yelled "Retreat" and all the harassing tanks and GI's started to flee. A kirov I've managed to build in the middle of the fight was the reason why they ran away, because it killed all their IFVs. A while later they built up force's again and attacked, that rush failed too. I was surprised. Then I built 3 or 5 Dreadnoughts (I don't remember) and completely murdered their bases because they were next to the coast. My allie just stood their and started cussing the other players out, one quitted the other (I think it was the purple guy) said "I guess I shall die like a man" I said " that's the spirit" and my allie said " yeah you @$#!ing moron" so then I just blew up the purple guy's base with no trouble. I guess what was so funny is that brute force doesn't work at all, that's why this is meant to be a strategy game, not the simple man's command and conquer. I know that wasn't funny really, plus it was long but it was the first match I ever won. PS: I don't know what was the deal with my allie, I never saw him (or anyone else) after that match.

One of my funny moments was, I was playing this game with my friend.. I think the map was Heck Freezes Over. Anyway we were messing around and I had a Yuri mvc and a Sov mcv from crates, I build a cloning vat... and 30 Crazy Ivans. So that equals up to abut 60 Ivans. Once I was finished building I send them to the middle of the map and I told him to watch what I do next. ( he has a crap computer... ) So I told one of the Ivans in the middle to put a bomb on another one... So I waited a few seconds... and I moved my screen away from the explosion and then the game really slowed down for a few minutes. I tried to talk to him and page him... but I got nothing in response... and I had noticed that none of his tanks weren't doing anything... So I called him up and as it turned out that all the crazy Ivans exploding had caused his computer to lock up... He hadn't turned off his comp or reset it yet so I told him to wait while I walked right into the back of his base and in a few seconds blew up his base... And once every building was gone, all his tanks blew up and he lost... I get back on the phone two minutes later and he says he's restarting his comp now... but it was to late.
