September 1, 2001 Update V3.2 changes

-Added RSS (Repair Support Ship) for the Allies.
-Updated TS Mode (AI should no longer build Terror Drones) - you DO NOT need to redownload AMTSPack.zip
-Elite Longbows can now tear up defenses more quickly.
-Lightning Boat fires faster.
-Prism Destroyer firepower decreased a little.
-Dolphins are back at $500 again.
-Now voxel images for for the Soviet Hind and ORCA's on the Carrier Nimitz.
-AI in skirmish should be a bit harder.
-Slightly decreased the armor bonus gained by Veterancy.
-Fixed bug with V3 Launchers.
-Fixed bug where Squids would not grapple Prism Destroyers.
-Many, many small tweaks to graphics that should optimize performance; the Soviet and -Naval Yard cranes no longer occasionally disappear.
-Updated Optimization patch (BE SURE you re-download the Optimization Patch IF you use it).
-Many cost reductions on buildings and infantry.
-There is now a build limit of one on Tanya and is uncrushable.
-You can now build Navy SEALs.
-Tesla Tank now has a longer range

July 29, 2001 Update V3.0 changes

- Eagle's Claw and Prism Destroyer for the Allies.
- Cobra and War Refinery for the Soviets.
- Added a new multiplayer game mode - the special Tiberian Sun mode!
- The Tank Destroyer now has a maneuverable turret.
- The Grand Artillery is slightly more powerful.
- Visual enhancements to the Chrono Tank's weapon.
- New 'deploy' feature for pure suicide units, such as the Terrorist and Demo Truck.
- 'Deploying' the unit instantly self destructs it.
- V3 Launcher has been improved
- Fixed the Desolator in Tech Revolution
- The Allies now have access to the Nighthawk transport again.
- The Aegis Cruiser has been restored to its original state, but now has the Prism Destroyer.
- Improved the Wolverine and Grizzly tanks
- The Mirage Tank can no longer disguise, but now appear in a more variety of trees.
- Reduced firepower of ORCAs on Carrier Nimitz's against structures
- The Patriot Missile no longer fires as fast when targeting aircraft, but fires fastest when targeting ballistic missiles.
- Slight enhancements to the Harrier and Black Eagle's weapon
- When playing America and you have an Airforce Command and Tech Airport, you now have two Paradrops instead of one (thanks Deezire!).
- American factions can no longer produce veteran GI's, but can exclusively paradrop veteran GI's onto the battlefield.
- Soviet factions now paradrop 10 Concripts.
- Improved Squid targeting when grappling ships.
- The Lightning Storm now takes 11 minutes to charge instead of 12.
- Updated Optimization Patch

March 19, 2001 update V2.0 changes:

-Improved startup program (CNCBlend). Will also alert you of potential errors. 
-V3 Launchers will no longer automatically fire at enemies. 
-The Iron Curtain now has the lighting effect in Unholy Alliance 
-Individual faction stats are MUCH more noticeable! 
-More new sounds added. 
-Enhanced Lightning Boat stats - now takes advantage of the water! 
-The Destroyer can attack subs from a longer range - but not from across the 
map 
-In the original missions that had the sidebar cameo flash, they now do again. 
-New optimization patch - get this if the new affects are a bit too much for 
your computer! 
-There's now a cool new animation when a Prism Tower's/Tank's beam hits. 
-Soviet players can now drop 15 Conscripts when they capture a Tech Airport. 
-Fixed the Chronosphere buildup in the winter theater 
-The WCD image has been improved and also fixed some image issues. 
-V3 Launcher can now start in Multiplayer games except in Death Match 
-Enhanced the ORCAs on the Aircraft Carrier Nimitz. 
-Some more things I forgot...

Skirmish Game Modes Of Play:
RA2: The Aftermath contain new modes of play for Skirmish against the AI!
-Meat Grinder - no high tech units allowed! Defeat your enemy with tanks and infantry!
-Naval war - its all naval, all the time!
-Crates For All - with 250 crates on the map at all times, pick up goodies everywhere!
-Tech Revolution - all Allied and Soviet factions can build all special units!
-Unholy Alliance - be Allied and Soviet at the same time!
-Death Match - you must rely on crates to build your army, no bases!

 

March 9th, 2001 update: Changes added for V1.5
-New startup program and cool banner! (Thanks Olaf!) New sounds and some sound changes. Medic unit gets a new voice. Wall gates now buildable. AI is improved. New lighting effect for the Iron Curtain. Various bug fixes. For all the new changes check out the manual accessed via the startup program.

 Other Game Changes :
-Grizzly Battle Tanks can repair themselves over time 
-Improved veterency and elite stats - veteran and elite units are much more 
noticeable 
-Crazy Ivan bombs are considerably more powerful 
-You can now build the Chrono Sphere and Iron Curtain with Super weapons OFF 
-Improved V3 Launcher - missiles are more durable 
-Soviet Amphibious Transports can carry 18 passengers 
-The Weather Control Device now emits a “Weather Beam” when creating a 
lightning storm (try it and see!) 
-Lighting Storm and Nuclear Missile slightly more powerful 
-Intense flying debris effects added 
-Many weapons now rock any nearby units it hits 
-Improved Prism Tower - light now reflects off of units 
-Improved Tesla Coil - when powered up by a Tesla Trooper the ROF and power 
is increased 
-War Miners and Soviet MCVs are amphibious 
-Miscellaneous AI tweaks make the AI tougher, stronger, and more brutal - the 
AI also uses the new units 
-Warp-in times have been decreased - Chrono Units warp in faster 
-Powerful weapons (like the Nuclear Missile) shake the screen on impact 
-Apocalypse Tanks now attack infantry with their missile packs 
-Most of the powerful units make a sound when created 
-Telling Ore Miners to 'Guard' will automatically tell them go harvest at the 
nearest ore patch 
-Rhino Heavy Tank now equipped with dual barrels 
-Prism Tanks can now destroy bridges and walls 
-Kirov Airships are slightly faster 
-New hidden Super Units! 
-Psychic Sensors will automatically alert you with an audio warning whenever 
an enemy unit is approaching 
-Destruction from a nuclear blast will spread outward instead of instantly 
killing everything 
-Tanya says "Shake it baby!" when idle (like in original RA1) 
-Walls build three times faster than normal and can be placed more quickly 
-War Factories and Refineries have more hit points 
-You can now use up to 30 Waypoints
